ShopMedic AI

In development · US early access 2027

The AI medic that keeps your store healthy and selling, 24/7.

ShopMedic AI runs a full maintenance round on your WooCommerce store every week — backup checks, updates, page tests, and a real order through your checkout — then tells you what happened in a paragraph you can read on your phone.

Built and running today on a real WooCommerce store. Opening to US stores in 2027 — the waitlist is how you get in first.

The problem

Most store owners find out something broke when a customer tells them.

Your store is a stack of moving parts: WordPress, WooCommerce, a theme, thirty-something plugins, a payment gateway, a shipping integration. Any Tuesday, one of them updates and quietly takes the checkout with it.

Nothing alerts you, because nothing crashed. The site loads. The product page looks fine. The Place order button just… doesn't do anything.

You find out days later, from an email that starts "Hi, I tried to order but…" — or you never find out at all, and you just have a bad month.

How it works

A full maintenance round, every week

Not a checklist someone ticks off. Six steps, run end to end, with every result written down.

  1. Check-up

Reads your store's vitals first: WordPress and PHP versions, WooCommerce, the theme, database size, free disk space, and which updates are waiting. Nothing gets touched before we know what we're touching.

  2. Backup gate

Confirms a recent backup exists before anything else runs. If there isn't one, or it's older than the limit you set, no updates happen — full stop. Nothing changes without a way back.

  3. Updates

Core, plugins, themes, translations — applied deliberately, with the outcome of each one recorded. Not "39 updates applied, have a nice day."

  4. Page tests

Loads the pages that matter — home, shop, cart, checkout, my account — and checks them properly: status code, load time, page weight, and PHP errors hiding inside a page that still returns a cheerful 200.

  5. A real test order

Adds a product to the cart, picks a shipping method, goes through checkout and places an actual order. Then deletes it and puts the stock back.

  6. The report

What changed, what got faster or slower with numbers from before and after, what needs a decision from you. By email — and on WhatsApp, if you'd rather.

One real round on a real WooCommerce store — 260 MB database, 39 plugins, a live payment and shipping stack — start to finish, with nobody watching. The slow home page is in the report because the report is supposed to tell you the truth.

What nobody else does

We test the part that makes you money.

Every maintenance service checks whether your site loads. Almost none check whether it sells.

After each round of updates, ShopMedic AI places a real order on your store, the way a customer would: product into cart, shipping method, checkout, order placed. If the money path is broken, you hear about it minutes after the update that broke it — not next month when the numbers look off.

Then it cleans up after itself. The test order is deleted and the stock is restored, down to the unit.

Nobody gets a fake confirmation email

Before a test order, your store goes into Safe Test Mode: outgoing email is blocked at the source. No "order received" to you, no confirmation to a customer, nothing to your accountant or your fulfillment partner. The mode expires by itself after 30 minutes, so your store can never be left silently muted.

Why that detail exists

Because the first time we ran a test order, it sent three real emails — including a cheerful "abandoned cart recovered" notice for a sale that never happened. We found it, and built the thing that makes it impossible. That's the kind of detail that separates a product from a script.

Judgment, not alerts

It reads the symptom. Then it finds the cause.

A monitoring tool tells you a page is slow. A screenshot comparison tells you a pixel moved. Neither one tells you why, and neither one can decide what to do about it.

A real case from the store we run this on: the WordPress admin broke and stayed broken, while every automated check stayed green — the site was up, the pages loaded. The cause was a caching layer serving admin scripts from eleven months earlier, because a "speed optimization" had stripped the version numbers off the script URLs. Finding that took reading the symptoms and reasoning about them. No checklist catches that.

So ShopMedic AI doesn't just tell you something is wrong. It works out what's wrong, fixes what it can safely fix, and asks you about the rest.

From a report

"Updates went through cleanly and the test order completed. One thing needs you: the gallery plugin on your product pages hasn't been updated by its author in two years and it's adding about 400 ms to every product page. Want me to look for a replacement, or leave it and keep an eye on it?"

That's the tone. A question you can answer in one line, not a red badge in a dashboard you'll never log into.

Trust

Built for someone else's store, not for a demo.

It has write access to the thing that pays your bills. That shapes every design decision in it.

Backup first, always

No update runs until a recent, verified backup exists. If there isn't one, the agent refuses to update and tells you why.

Nothing irreversible without your yes

Deleting, disabling, replacing: today the agent doesn't do any of them at all — it reports what it found and asks you. When those actions do arrive, they'll arrive behind your approval, not instead of it.

Every round is on the record

Each round writes down every step, every measurement and every finding. The report you get is generated from that record, not from a summary of it.

Your customer data stays yours

The agent works inside your store. Order data isn't copied out and isn't used to train anything. The only order it creates is its own.

Fit

Who this is for

A good fit if

  • You run a WooCommerce store and there's no developer on staff.
  • Calling whoever built the site three years ago is awkward, slow and expensive.
  • The store makes real money — a broken checkout is a bad week, not a shrug.
  • You'd rather read one honest report than log into another dashboard.

Not for you (yet)

  • Shopify, BigCommerce, or a custom storefront. This is WordPress and WooCommerce only.
  • Stores with an in-house engineering team — they've usually got this covered.
  • Anyone who wants a hands-off tool with no reports to read. It will ask you things.

Where we are

The honest status

You're finding this page before you'll find a review of us, so here's the straight version.

Working today: the full round runs start to finish with nobody watching — check-up, backup gate, updates, page tests, a real order placed through checkout and cleaned up afterwards, and a written report at the end. The last round took 26 seconds and no human touched a single step of it. It runs against a real WooCommerce store: 260 MB of database, 39 plugins, a live payment and shipping stack. Right now those rounds run on a complete clone of that shop, which is exactly where a maintenance agent should prove itself before it touches anyone's live checkout.

Coming next: running on live stores on a weekly schedule, an audit log you can read yourself, approvals for the actions the agent doesn't take yet, multi-store support, WhatsApp reporting, and the English version of the product for US stores — planned for 2027.

What that means for you: if you sign up today, you're getting in line. We'd rather tell you honestly when it's ready for your store than take your email and imply it's ready now.

Waitlist

Get in line for early access

We'll email you when we open access to US stores. Everyone who joins now gets founding-member pricing, locked in.

One email when we open access, and nothing else. No newsletter, no drip sequence, unsubscribe in one click. We don't sell or share your address — here's exactly what we store and for how long.

Questions

The things people ask first

Does it need access to my site?
Yes. It works through a small WordPress plugin plus a dedicated account with only the permissions it actually needs — not a shared login and not your personal admin account. You can revoke both in under a minute, and doing so leaves your store exactly as it was.
Can it break my store?
Anything with write access can, and we'd be lying if we said otherwise. That's why nothing runs before a verified backup exists, why irreversible actions wait for your approval, and why every action is logged. If a round breaks something, you hear it from us first, along with what we're already doing about it.
Will the test order email my customers, or hit my accounting?
No. Outgoing email is blocked at the source for the duration of the test, the order is tagged as a test in your store, and it's deleted afterwards with the stock restored. Invoicing and shipping integrations that require a manual click are never triggered.
WooCommerce only?
For now, yes — WordPress and WooCommerce. It's the platform where this problem is worst, and we'd rather do one platform properly than four badly.
What will it cost?
Not decided for the US yet, which is why there are no prices on this page. The goal is plain: agency-quality maintenance at a price a single store can justify, well under a typical agency retainer. Waitlist members get founding pricing when we set it.
What about GDPR and my customers' data?
The agent works inside your store rather than pulling your order data somewhere else. What it does export — the report — is about your store's health, not your customers. Nothing is used to train models. The full data-handling terms will be published before the first paid store goes live.
Who's behind this?
Constantin Zamfir

I'm Constantin Zamfir, and for now ShopMedic AI is mostly me. I keep real WooCommerce stores running for a living — that's where this came from: I got tired of finding out days late that a checkout had been broken. Every capability gets used on my own store before it goes anywhere near yours, and if something goes wrong on yours, you'll be writing to me, not to a support queue.
